You have the recipe for the Chocolate Fondue but you also have the choice of making a cheese fondue, just make sure that the cheese doesn’t have something in it that your AP is allergic too.

So with the chocolate fondue you have the choice of all sorts of fruits.  With the cheese fondue you can have gluten-free bread and gluten-free crackers and all sorts of chunks of meat.  Take your time enjoying the fondue and experimenting with all the flavors.

Chocolate Fondue

Splurge and use high quality chocolate.

12 ounces Belgian chocolate, chopped

1 cup of heavy cream

Flavoring, optional (2 tablespoons liquor of choice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon 5 spices,  orange peel, chili powder

Put chocolate and crean into a saucepan or chafing dish.  Over low heat, stir mixture until melted and smooth.  Add optional flavorings.

Provide skewers and serve with a variety of dip size foods, such as strawberries, banana, pineapple, marshmallows.

Raspberry Granita

Countless flavors make this and endless option for dessert…. blueberry, mango, peaches, you have to check with your allergy person to see which foods are safe.

3/4 granulated sugar or 1/2 cup of honey   1 cup hot water   2 tbsp fresh lemon juice   3 cups frozen raspberries   Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper or wax paper.  In a small bowl combine first three ingredients until sugar is dissolved.  In a food processor blend raspberries until smooth.  Add sugar mixture and pulse until combined.   Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and put into the freezer.  Stir every  30 mins, scraping frozen edges into center, for about 1 1/2 hours or until frozen.  to serve, scrape granita with a fork into individual serving dishes.
